Mia wouldn't start moving until the slime receeded again. The moment her skin was coated again she felt immensely uncomfortable and flat out refused to move until he was done, but when things were 'back to normal' she got moving for the nearest transport station between the flowers, hopping up to the station to catch the next train.
"Mark's just a year younger than me, bit of a runt really." She shrugged, feeling some affection for her brother but not against telling it how it was either. "He has goals and ambitions but without the real dedication to back it up. Maybe he can be strong, maybe he's always gonna be weak, I couldn't tell ya, but anything he wants to do he dosn't set his mind to right, so he fails, a lot. That's just Mark for ya."
Pushing up onto one of the trains as they arrived, bound along the world trees branches at magically powered hyper speed for Ardura, Mia rested her back against a wall, picking a mostly empty train car, but pulling out her mobile phone just incase anyone thought she was talking to herself. "Look I get the whole bond to live thing so this fusion crap is really special to you, but please don't talk about 'hybriding' with my brother. It's weird. Beyond that even, why do you care about bonding with an intelligent race? Can't you bond with...a fucking bird or something? A dog? You'd probably have a lot more control."
"Did I give the impression I am one that wish to control?" He playfully joked. The answer was obvious, really. Since their meeting, Mia did not once lose her free will.
"As per bonding with your brother...that's just what it is. How else would you call something that is a mix between to things? Do not get me wrong, I am grateful for the help you are giving me. To answer your question, yes. I could just as easily merge to an animal, but you see...well it's not really all that exciting."
The slime latched onto Mia's hand. She could feel it begin pulsing with power as it was morphed into a dragonic claws and then covered by the pinkish substance.
"But look at what I can do! If I merge with a someone like you, I could help them do some good. That's why I merged with you to begin with. I wanted to save you. I want to do some good. This is why I want to find someone who'd be okay with sharing my same idea. I am not here to force this on anyone. If I'll ever merge with anyone else, it will be a willing bond. So if I'll end up merging with your brother, it will be because hbe wishes it to be so."
With that said, the aigan simply retreated back into his hiding spot. Aeron allowed the dragon girl some time to collect her thoughts before speaking again. "With or without me merged, he will still be the brother you love. 100%. I do not want to disrupt your family."
"No, but I enjoy my free will, and I like to imagine most living creatures do. Can't imagine what it's like to share that." She scratched her cheek. "If I had to share a body with someone i'd either feel horrible for having full control, or I'd feel enough guilt to share control, and I'd hate it. If you hijacked some dumb animal I imagine it'd be easier not to feel guilty about that." She gave a casual shrug all the same, reaching up for one of the train's handlebars to keep herself steady as it spead up outside of the flower.
As she felt the pink slime latch around her hand, Mia bared her claws, and dug them deep into her own palm. Sure, it hurt, but if she was right it would hurt this thing too, and without looking down to address him, she hissed into the phone she was using to not look crazy. "Have I not made it clear I don't like you doing that?"
Sighing loudly as Aeron was smart enough to likely not continue doing that, she shook out her arm till he scales faded and rolled back her neck. "Look, whatever my brother wants, I'm not letting you stay with him forever. He needs to learn to stay on his own two feet. I'll rip you off him myself if I end up having to."
"R-right. Sorry. Sorry." Aeron quickly retracted back as small as he could. He kept mostly quiet for the rest of the trip, not really wishing to anger the dragonic girl any longer. Especially after her little stunt she pulled off. Now she would have to deal with some of Aeron's blood staining her hand after she jammed it in her palm.
While he wasn't at all thrilled about the idea of hanging around someone with that kind of temper, he did need a host. He just hoped this Mark guy would be more willing and less violent. Hopefully he could somewhat protect him from Mia's fiery behaviour. Perhaps saving the girl from drowning hadn't been the smartest of ideas. Well, he did want to help. He just happened to get stuck with someone who clearly despised him for a reason or the other.
Arriving in Ardura, Mia had long since wiped off her and Aeron's blood against the side of her dark shaded pants and hopped off to get back to her home. The dry atmosphere of Ardura was nice to experience after being submerged like that, and after a short detour to drop the supplies she'd gathered off at one of the local tradesmen, Mia actually started to walk out of the main town, out into the desert wilderness around. If Aeron asked anything Mia would just tell him to be patient, as they soon arrived a distinctive little house built at the edge of one of the desert flowers few oases, with a white, feathery dragon curled up in the sun around it, a very gentle and angelic looking example of it's species.
"Hey mom. Dad and Mark home?" Mia casually asked, the dragon lifting it's head, engulfed briefly in a golden glow before taking a much softer human form, the woman actually a fair head or more shorter than Mia herself.
"Oh yes dear, just inside." Mia smiled and gave her mom a passing hug when she opened her arms for one before heading inside, telling her mom she'd catch up later. Heading past her dad,a grizzly but jolly looking man, Mia moved upstairs and to the bigger room of the house. With Mark being the only one who still lived home, he'd ended up moving into her room when she left.
"Suuuuuuup douchebag." Mia chimed in as she walked in, Mark still in jis Pyjamas and stumbling out of bed from the shock of Mia opening the door so abruptly. Mia smirked down at him and leared over her smaller brother. "Suuuup?"
The blonde groaned, rubbing his face as he lay on the floor. "What do you want?"
Aeron kept quiet, though growing slighly panicked once the angelic dragon (supposedly the girl's mother) hugged her. He kept as still as he possibly could, as flat as he could and held his breathing until Mia was well past her father.
"...I think she knows." He told her once they were in the clear. "If she can sense magic, she probably knows I'm in your head."
With that, the Aigan simply returned to passive osservation, curiously looking at Mark from his hiding spot. The guy was blonde then...and seemed really annoyed at the prospect of seeing his sister. He just hoped nothing else bad would happen.
Mia rolled her eyes at the detecting magic comment, and stated. "You really overhype us dragons."
Back in the present with Mark, Mia attempted to give a quick rundown of why she was here once she helped him to his feet. Just a general rundown of how she got saved in the forest and said she'd at least ask Mark if he wanted to be this things host for a while. He was rightly confused and Mia let out a sigh, looking down to herself and speaking to Aeron, though to Mark it'd look like she was speaking to her tits.
Aeron weighted his options. Then, he decided on what to act out. "I'll need you to touch him." He concluded. "I can't speak unless he's in contact with me and I'll doubt you'll let me merge with you again. Grab his hand, I'll take it from there."
With that, he would wait until she did so to slither away from Mia and crawl over to the boy. For starters, he simply latched imself to his arm, instantly forcing it into a dragonic claw just as what had happened to Mia.
"H-hey there." He greeted, nervous and somewhat scared. "I'm...I'm Aeron. Aeron Thesys."
Mia nodded and without much permission from him, grasped Mark's wrist, pulled him in, and grasped his hand firmly. Immediately the brother started to tug his hand back with some disagreement. "H-hey! Let go! This some weird macho game of yours again?" "Oh just shut up."
With the slime slithering between their arms, Mark shuddered and started to tug back harder, though a mild part of him was solely intrigued by this odd thing climbing across to his arm. Mia sighed and groaned as her hand was forced to transform briefly while the slime passed over it, then let Mark have it. As far as the family was concerned, Mia was the only oen who could choose her transformations. Mark had spiles and a half-tail, Karla, their older sister, had wings and horns, so the fact Mark briefly had a draconic hand was kinda stunning to him.
It was a good long five minutes of Mark just staring at his new dragonic claw, watching as a harder shell of his deep purple scales covered the back of his hand and extended all the way to his elbow. It was clearly meant to protect from blunt trauma. By his actions, Mia could tell that a far ore willing host was indeed able to speak with the little pink Aigan within their mind.
"So. He saved your ass uh?" The boy told his elder sibling with a grin on his face. "Not so tough now, eh, sister?" he added as the creature further spread all the way to his shoulder. Mark's body was already reacting positively to the bond. the boy's muscles had clearly buffed up. His whole arm was just more tonic as a dragonic claw.
He quieted down again, likely listening to what the little pink slime latched to his arm was explaining. "Uh. That's kinda cool. I wouldn't mind a powerup." He mumbled, examining his morphed hand an flexing his fingers. "Alright. I'll share my body with you." He stated after a while, nodding. "I'm all yours, Aeron!"
The purplish pink tendrils quickly wrapped around the boy's body, tightly weaving into some sort of fiber as Aeron began merging himself with his new host. Mark's entire body grew just a tad bit taller as his form shifted into a way more dragonic look. Strands of pink ran down the boy's tail, covering it in pink while also keeping the boy's spikes out. In a matter of seconds, tendrils latched onto Mark's face, covering his golden lockes, two horns slowly growing out of his head as his entire body was forced into a more feral state by Aeron's power.
Mark's neck bulged repeatedly, Mia could tell he was swallowing a hefty amount of the symbiotic creature. A shudder signaled that Aeron had reached and succesfully merged with Mark's lungs. One full minutes and both Aigan and Dragon boy ceased to exist. In their place stood a rather powerful Aigan-Dragon hybrid. With claws for feet and hands, a long tail, snout and horns...Mark's complete dragonic form was out for everyone to witness. With darker grey, tougher scales to protect the softer spots and a sea of bright purplish-magenta scales (a direct result of Aeron), the dragon turned his attention back to his sibling.
Mark's tail swished in low arcs above ground, his snout curling up in a cocky grin that showed a row of sharp draconic fangs, he raised his hand claws to examine himself.
"Wow, okay this is so cool!" He exclaimed, turning around and stretching, not even noticing his and Aeron's voices had merged as well. "I could get used to this..." He added, glaring at his sister with his slitted green eyes. The expression on his face spelled something clear as day.
(Mia isn't the eldest sibling, she's ELDER, but they both have an older sister)
Mia leaned back against a wall and rolled her eyes at the teasing of the situation she'd managed to get herself in, rolling her head back a little and folding her arms. Of course he'd focus on that part when he learned about it. Still- "It's not like you can swim either doofus, or did you forget there ain't exactly much water to practice with out here in Ardura?"
Watching him adjust to this transformation, Mia was both happy, and not at all. She was glad for him getting something like this since she knew how he could feel about himself, but still, he didn't like the idea of relying on something else for power rather than putting in the hard work yourself. When Mark settled the mixed voices struck an uncomfortable nerve, but she snapped out of it at the final statement.
Mia pushed off the wall, glaring down her brother as red scales formed around her eyes, her own purple spheres turning a harsh red and pupils turning to slits within them. "You wanna put your money where your mouth is you two?"
"Ohohohooooo, scary." Mark replied, mockingly waving his arms around in a "save me" gesture. He took a step forward, challenging Mia's glare with one of his own. Considering how scaredy Aeron was, Mia could tell that behaviour was all her brother. "I'll kick your ass right here and now. Besides..." He turned to the side and smirked at her, poking the side of his head with his clawed hand, right where his temple bone would be. "From what he told me, you sound like you're really scared about what we can do. There's no way I'm letting og of this awesome power. If Aeron here really can unlock 100% of my onw potential..."
There was a twinge of sadness in his expression, but just for a moment.
"Then this is the time I finally get something done. And what better thing to do than to finally get some sweet sweet revenge." He concluded, quickly throwing away his pajama. As he was, he didn't need clothes.
Mia wasn't having this. Her brother getting a power boost, fine, but if he wanted to be a cocky shit about it Mia was gonna put him in his place. Stepping up to him, she glared him down hard and sharpened her gaze. "Outside."
Eith that she turned and headed down the stairs, throwing her coat into the livingroom, the sound of her dad coming back with an "Oh. Here we go." As the coat was an easy enough way to recognize what was about to happen. The blonde shoved open the front door and hooked over the porch infront of the house, taking a short jog into the space around the desert, and cracking out her neck and knuckles as she waited for Mark to catch up, pounding her fist into an open palm as she waited for him, scales around her eyes and up along her forearms as she formed her claws.
"Aeron you sure you wanna stay attatched to this idiot? He's liable to get you killed if he keeps running his mouth."
Mark just decided to show off by jumping off his window and superhero landing right in front of her. At her own gesture followed his stretching around, still using his own body language to taunt her and generally waving the fact that he was a full dragon right in her face.
The purple lizard only stopped moving when she asked something directly to the Aigan. Mark raised his claw up, a small pink sphere forming. "Here, catch." He tossed the small ball at her, hoping she'd catch it. If she did, the small pink spere would latch at her wrist like a rubber wristband. She could feel it squirm tightly around her arm.
"CAN YOU TWO PLEASE STOP IT?!" Aeron's voice sounded rather desperate, as he shouted in both of their minds.
Growling a little at her brother trying to show off when she knew for a fact he didn't have the skills to back it up, Mia saw the 'catch' request more as a taunt, not able to be sure if the pink blob was an attack or otherwise. She lifted her arm in it's way instead and planned to fling it off of her if needed, but when she heared the Aigan, she groaned and lowered her arm, not even doing the thing the pleasure of looking at it as she stared down her brother.
"That's down to my dipshit of a brother. If he's really stupid enough to be proven wrong that's down to the two of you. Not me."
