Here you can find a list detailing some of the features we use here on Synthesis.
- MOD SUMMONS - As you can see over to the left, assuming you aren't on mobile, we use Proboards' built-in shoutbox to alert mods when threads need their attention. Everything from character applications to quests can be mod summoned. Just post a link along with what you need.
- LINKS MENU - Hiding way over on the far left of the screen you'll see a Links menu. Click it to pull out for quick access to a lot of useful boards and threads from anywhere.
- COLLAPSIBLE CATEGORIES - By clicking on the category title bar, you can collapse and expand them to make the board easier to scroll through.
- STAFF PMs - Rather than typing out every staff member, you can simply send a PM to @staff to reach all of us at once. There's also a Staff PM button that will fill that in automatically on each staff member's profile.
- MONEY SYSTEM - Money is earned automatically via posting, though only IC boards earn money. When you are sent money (although not when your funds are directly edited by staff) you will receive a notification in the top left corner of the screen. If you miss clicking it, you can also see pending donations by clicking the tiny green and gold button in the bottom left corner of the screen.
- WORD COUNTER - Below the bottom right corner of the posting textarea you will find a helpful word counter, good for Quests or just satisfying your curiosity.
- SPOILER TAGS - Demonstrated below. If you see a bar that looks like this, click it! To title spoiler tags, put the title in {these brackets} right after the opening spoiler tag.
