As Lucien grabbed Sera's arm, she almost pulled away. She started running first so she should have been ahe--okay Mr. Long-Ass legs just drag her along then she'd take all the help she could get to keep up.

When Lucien took a tumble, it knocked her a bit off-balance, too, but only a little, and for a fraction of a second she debated continuing to run quite literally for her life, but instead she huffed and turned back to help him up. NISO!! "Dammit Niso!" Why choose now of all times to be noble?!

Just then, a blur of colors passed them from the opposite direction, heading toward the gorilla, whooping and hollering and seeming to disorient it with the noise. "YEE-FUCKIN-HAW," a red-haired man yelled before blasting--!?? the gorilla with a ball of fire?! straight from his fingers!? The gorilla winced and began to shy away as the man's companion called forth long vines from the earth to whip at it. What was going on?!

As the beast started to turn and run the adventurers didn't seem to be letting up in the slightest. Whether they were hunting the thing for sport, to ensure others were free from its dangers, or to harvest something from it was a mystery but the first two, apparent, humans on the scene were quick to rush after it, leaving the third of the little party to screech to a halt in the branch coated ground behind them, catching their breath just a little and calling after them with a cheeky comment. "Ah come on guys! You know I ain't a fast runner!~"

Still she seemed mostly joking from the sounds she was making, shaking her head a little, her wild blond hair swaying about her eyes and face before she turned to the hefty tree the black haired immortal had found himself imbedded in the base of, the blonde showing some intrigue at the sparks around his body and the way one of his arms was shifting back into place as she watched. "Huh, don't see many of you immortals out fightin' these days. Y'all are a rare breed."

Niso's mind was still a haze from the last punch, but...did she say immortals? Plural? His confusion already came with so many questions but with a hand placed infront of him he didn't refuse it, putting his own hand out and feeling the rather sharp tug to his feet. Damn he felt like he musta been almost weightless to this person, whoever they-

"...Mia?"

The blonde was a little surprised by this runt guessing her name clearly, letting go of his hand and idly dusting off the shoudler of his jacket with the back of her hand. "Heh, my legend already preceeding me eh? Damn I work fast.~" She gave a cheeky, sharp toothed smirk, and Niso started to notice the differences right there. Not only did her teeth seem a little closer to fangs almost, this woman before him had slightly more colored skin. Not a natural tan shade but they clearly saw the sun a LOT more than the Mia they knew living underground. While still broad and muscular she seemed faintly more athletic as if she had to run about a lot more and didn't focus so much on the muscle building on it's own. Niso still felt a little intimidated all the same and...wait, even with the differences, her name WAS Mia?

"I...er..." He just stared, confused, glancing to his companions on this weird trip they were experiencing, glancing to his now horned girlfriend and the blonde who rudely tagged along for the ride, hoping one of them had answers here somehow.

Mia herself meanwhile quirked her brow at Niso's clear inability to form a sentance, turning to the pinkette and blonde herself and- "Hey your friend okay? He dosn't like, get a baby brain when he regenerates or nuttin' does he?" She then paused, glancing to Sera and taking her in more. Lucien she had no qualms about, or even Niso of all people, but she raised a hand cautiously to tell Sera to keep a step or two away. "...We cool? No offense but I ain't exactly lookin' to be charmed in a deadly forest..." She then smirked and shrugged cheekily. "I mean not that i'd mind with a gal like you but there's a time and a place/~"

Niso's expression dropped like an exasperated cartoon. Okay. This was Mia. But. How. What. I. FFFF.

Succubus?? Was that what Sera was now, with the horns and tail? But how and why... She listened as Mia tried to explain. Other realms? World tree? ...Wow that counter analogy was pretty lame but okay.

Ryan did a last look over his shoulder to make sure the beast was gone, but then joined Mia. "Oh dear. All right so first let's walk while we talk, we're gonna wanna escort you guys to the nearest village then."

Village! "Yes please," Sera nodded eagerly.

Ryan briefly nodded back, then made sure their tree-climbing friend was following too, and as the group walked he tried to explain. "Okay so like she said, this world is called the World Tree. The place you're in right now blooms from a flower of the tree; it's the jungles of Vervitae. Whatever world you came from, I ain't never heard o' folks getting back once they've come here. But folks come here a lot and the cities have stuff in place to help get y'all settled in nice and teach you how things work 'round here."

Sera's tail swished behind her as she walked. It was a lot to take in, but it was clear enough even if it sounded impossible. Something must have gone very wrong with Hoopa's portals. "So why am I a uh... a succubus?" She squeaked the word a bit, still feeling strange saying it. "I was human this morning."

"Ah... Race is fickle here. Outsiders sometimes change when they fall in. No one knows why. There's pretty readily available magic to change what you are at will though if'n you don't like it."

"Hm?" A bit of color rose to her face. "Oh uh.. I could probably get used to it..."

Feeling a bit more at ease as they started to walk, Niso had a quick skip up to Sera’s side and offered her an attempt at a reassuring smile, though it may have been just a tad too close to his usual oblivious ones to help…then again Sera also knew him well enough by now to tell the difference. Lucien in the meantime…

Mia herself was glad for Ryan taking the reigns on things since he seemed to be doing it better, and the blonde even snickered a little as the pinkette didn’t seem all that eager to go changing her race. Niso blushed a little himself as he caught onto that. If there was a quick fix Sera would probably take it if she didn’t like the result, so…she wanted to be like this? Niso supposed he shouldn’t be too worried. Even if she was the kind of succubus he feared…well she was already halfway there anyway, and as far as life draining went, hey, he was immortal. He’d literally survive. Was all he was good for.

Inching up a little closer to her side, her cautiously jabbed her side a little with his elbow and a smirk. “I mean…should I really be surprised you don’t wanna lose cute horns and a tail? N-not that I’m saying you SHOULD keep them just…er…” He lowered his head and rubbed the back of his neck. In public he always struggled immensely to express any sense of desire or appreciation for Sera physically and just shyed away from saying more.

Mia scratched her cheek, idly chiming in. “Ryan ain’t off about the races being finicky. It ain’t like we got a census or nuttin’. Most people self-define their race…like, we got guidelines I guesssss…? But really if you wanna call yourself a demon rather than a succubus, or if your lanky ass friend is more elf than human, he may as well call himself it. We got so much magic to switch and change that it can be hard for anyone to keep track.” She smirked and pounded her chest with a bit of pride. “I’m a dragon kin by the by. Born and raised.~” Of course these strangers may have no idea what that meant but ho hum.

The journey to civilization was interrupted when the blonde stopped in his tracks. Niso’s shoulders pulled in, feeling a bit like this was his fault, and while he couldn’t emphasize he knew well enough his own feelings about his Pokemon so he could feel some of what Luci was putting out.

Mia though…

Walking across she hooked him over her shoulder with relative ease. “Dunno what a Pokemon is, but hey, ya never know. One of you lot can be the first to find a way back. Now come on, you can all cry about it a little easier with a roof over your heads.” Mia hadn’t met many fresh outsiders, but much like the one they knew it was clear matters of emotions were things she tackled with a blunt headbutt. Niso almost snickered a little at how Mia just carried him and made sure everyone kept moving,
