"Damn it, damn it, damn it! Did father always have such incompetent staff to the point where I have to get out there and do things myself?!" Kaila grumbled to herself as she stomped outside of the store. She ran her fingers through her hair as she made an agitated sigh then went on to pinch the bridge of her nose to calm herself down. Even mentioning her deceased father didn't stop the fury that built up inside Kaila. Kaila ordered her staff to find some models for her father's company, Arvanitis (Arvan for short), yet for some reason they weren't able to find any. What made things worse was that she only asked for one model for now before she tried to reach out for others. Nothing baffled her more than staff, who worked for one of he biggest fashion lines in Silvaria, who couldn't retrieve one person to get a model. Kaila looked around the streets of Silvaria to find her perfect model. Some looked okay at best while others... were just not it. She needed someone who would be perfect no matter what, but even she didn't know what she wanted. She just needed someone to look good. "Dad, just how the hell did you deal with some of these people without punching the window and paying to fix it at least three times?" She mumbled to herself. [Outfit]

This district was always so pricey. The clothes were fancier than she'd really wear anyway-- not that she had anything against it, it just wasn't practical with her occupation-- but some of the equipment and weapons were really lovely. She liked to window shop sometimes, but today it was just reminding her she was in desperate need of cash. It had been a while since her last real job, and she hadn't found anything too valuable to sell lately either.
As she walked through the streets, she overheard a woman's mumbling. It was grasping at straws for sure, but she stopped and turned back to face her. "Excuse me. I don't mean to butt in, but is everything all right?" If she was lucky, she'd have a problem Ashling could help with and get a little spare change. If not, the worst case scenario was embarrassing herself a bit, right?

Kaila turned her head to what seems to be a cat girl that expressed concern from what she mumbled earlier. The kitsune would stay silent as she'd stare at the girl for a few seconds, realization slowly taking over her face. Realization then transformed into hope, then hope into confidence. A bright smile took over her face as she took a step closer towards the girl. This girl, right here, with the ears and tail, she was the one. She was the one that Kaila needs to complete what she needs to do for the business.
"Has anyone ever told you that you should do a photoshoot for a fashion line? If not, then I'll be the first to say it: you should do a photoshoot for not just any fashion line, but for Arvanitis!" You have the looks, the aura that you don't even know you have, you have it all and you don't even know it! Kaila chirped with excitement as she gave the cat girl a big grin as she chatted about animatedly.
"Trust me, I can reassure you that the process would be very smooth and easy to go through. You'll also have a very nice experience of the shoot as well! I can tell you all the other benefits along the way if you do accept the off- oh no, no, no, no, when you accept the offer! So, what do you say?" Kaila asked while holding her grin, excitement all over her voice.

Ashling blinked as the woman brightened up. Maybe she just needed someone to show a little consideration today? Or-- had anyone what? "No?" she squeaked, but she didn't think the woman heard her the way she kept going. Some part of her brain thought telling her she had something and didn't know it was a little presumptuous; what if Ashling was well aware of... whatever it was. She wasn't, the rest of her brain admitted, but what if she was?
Okay, no, honestly. Weren't models supposed to be tall and curvaceous? Ash's curves were cute, as was her face, but surely she was no model.
"I don't really--" The woman went on, and Ashling's ears folded back nervously as her tail bristled slightly at the end. So, what do you say? She opened her mouth to decline the offer, but a moment later remembered she was in need of money. "Www...what kinds of benefits?" Her ears hesitantly lifted back up. "Does it pay well?"

There it was, the big question most people would ask when it comes to what they're getting out of modeling for Arvanitis. She got her now. "Benefits? Ha, where do I even start!" Kaila exclaimed with glee as she threw her arms up. She quickly stepped towards either of the cat girl's sides and wrapped an arm around her shoulders as her other hand was out in front of her, slowly floating left to right.
"We have a lot to give for, even if we need you for a picture or two. The two benefits that get some people interested is a high pay and keeping the clothes you modeled in. Not only you get generously paid, but you also get to own clothes that could possibly have yet to be released! There are also other benefits such as being able to see clothes that have not been released yet and even get to try them yourself and for yours to keep if you like it!" Kaila explained.
Kaila then unwrapped her arm off of the cat girl and took a step forward so she could face her. "Now, the main benefit is getting paid generously. The rest are optional, so you can choose what you want to do. Trust me, with a girl like you, Silvaria, if not Regnum as a whole will or even the damn world will know who you are with the beauty you got." She paused for a second to make a reassuring nod.
"So, what do you say?"

Uh... Ashling didn't know about this, to be honest. "I don't really want to keep the clothes." She didn't have anywhere to store anything fancy. "Unless it's something functional but.." She was pretty sure this sounded like more of a fashion gig. "And fame sounds..." Color rose to her face. "Intimidating?" she admitted.
"B-but uh... I guess... I could use the money right now if you really think I'd be good enough? Er.. pretty enough? Whatever enough." If she really had whatever quality it was models were supposed to have. "J-just a little though, okay? So... Where do I sign up?"

Kaila could understand not wanting the clothes and definitely not the fame. Not everyone could handle the expensive fabric and the fame, but what mattered more was the cat girl accepting the offer, with the kitsune making a deep sigh of relief was made. "There's nowhere for you to sign up, because you're going to start right now!" She said.
Excitedly grabbing the cat girl by the wrist, Kaila then went on to pull her into the store and head down into the basement.
"So these are just some of the clothes you'll be trying out for today. They're not much, at least for us, but there are some outfits I think you'd look stunning in." Kaila explained as she showed the cat girl an enormous room of costly articles of clothing ranging from pants to dresses to choose from. Some looked more historical while others were more modern and relaxed on the eyes.
"...Now, what I want you to do is to choose what you want to wear. I'd rather have you be in something you want to be in rather than choosing for you. We're all about freedom of creativity and all that other stuff here!" She said with a bright smile.

Ashling felt completely overwhelmed by the number of choices, and none of it really seemed her style. Or, well, okay that shirt was cute, but would it be cute on her? Would it fit right? Actually a lot of this seemed made for a more petite build to her surprise, though almost all the pants were too long for her tiny frame, to no surprise. "Ummmm..." There was simply too much. Her head was swimming, but she got the feeling from the kitsune's pushy demeanor that she was going to be insistent about Ashling picking. "O--okay, what about..." She started to pick up a shirt, but then hesitated and put it back. "Mmm..."Finally, she found a green dress that seemed to be cut with a tail hole. "Um... would this be all right?" It was just a bit long for her, but should be okay she though. "A-and uh, where's the dressing room?" |

Kaila stared at the dress the cat girl chose, eyeing it up and down. She stayed silent for a few minutes as she hummed in consideration with a deadpan expression. After a few seconds, she'd nod with approval, her joyful look brought back to her face.
"Oh, that dress would just look so gorgeous on you!" She yelled with glee as both hands clapped together to the left side of her head with a little hope.
The kitsune then pointed behind the girl to a door that was only a few feet away.
"Right behind you, dear. Once you're done, you're going to walk through that door over there." She then used the same hand to point behind herself.
"There, you're going to stand right where the X is on the floor and just strike a pose, any pose. We wouldn't want to waste time now, do we? And don't worry, we don't pressure or bite... much." She said with a giggle. Those were her final words before she'd turn around and head to the photoshoot in the other room.
"Looks like you've finally found someone to model for us?" The photographer asked, sitting in a chair with a tablet on his lap while he witnessed Kaila entering in the room.
"Sure did! I think you're really going to like her. Her first choice in fashion is a bit... plain, but simplicity can be the most complex." Kaila said with a nod, approaching the photographer.
"Anyway, what matters now is that we got someone to model with us, so the least we can do is just anticipate and see what the girl can do."

Ashling followed the instructions to the dressing room and carefully took off her normal attire. Despite still having her underwear on, she felt... naked, stripping like this in a stranger's store. Deep breaths, Ash. This was supposed to be for a lot of money. ...God, now she just felt like she was getting paid to indulge someone's weird fetish. A shudder later and she tried to calm herself.
She wasn't used to wearing long flowy things, but once it was on she had to admit it looked rather fetching on her. The cut of the top made even her modest breasts look rather nice, and the color complimented her well.
She peeked out and saw the X the kitsune had mentioned, and took one last deep breath. Stepping out, she made her way there and struck a surprisingly sexy pose, followed by another. She may or may not have just been imagining she was posing to entice her ex-boyfriend, but it was probably working regardless.

Kaila stared at the cat girl who just entered in the room, struck a pose, and shot a quick grin at the photographer. As the photographer set his tablet down and stood up, the kitsune leaned towards his ears and whispered."See, see? I told you I had a good feeling about her." She whispered with glee, jumping up and down out of excitement.
The photographer rolled his eyes with a chuckle, shaking his head while reaching for his camera. "Hey, whatever helps keeps the business going I guess." He said. Walking a bit closer to the cat girl, he adjusted and aimed his camera at her before he made a single click with the device. He took a quick peek at the picture before sharing it to Kaila.
The kitsune smiled in sanctification as she looked back at the cat girl. "Beautiful! Now... give us something more sassy, bold, as if you're in control over something." She said.

Ashling was... actually starting to enjoy this whole process. The attention and praise were flattering, and she felt like this was actually a pretty easy gig. "How's this?" She turned sideways and put a hand on her hip, tilting her head up and looking down with a smug expression. The photographer would have to crouch down for maximum effect with Ashling being so short, but she did look confident.
Once he got that shot, Ashling smirked, aiming to surprise her benefactor and the photographer. The dress was open-backed, so she turned to face the two of them, held her arms out as if gently welcoming an embrace, tilted her head back slightly, and let her coppery wings sprout from her back and unfurl, the light catching the slightly metallic sheen of her feathers.

The photographer and Kaila both shared a look before the photographer squatted down and began to take a few pictures that would be the "perfect shot" to please Kaila. Once he took the shots, he returned to the kitsune so they both could look at the shots taken. A satisfied smile curled on Kaila's lip as she stopped on one picture. She looked up at the cat girl and asked, "Are you sure you haven't done this type of stuff before?" In an amused voice.
"Now... give me a more sympathetic look. As if you just heard the worst news possible. Not on the verge of tears, but just as if something's been bothering you all day. After that, we'll switch to another outfit and that'll be that." Kaila suggested.

Ashling was beaming that her wings got such a good reaction, but flustered and blushed faintly when asked if she'd done this before. "Um.." She had to fight it down to comply with the last request. "S-sure um..." What could she think about? Ummm.... Oh! That annoying dog boy, perfect. Ew. Yes that let her look genuinely bothered.
Once they got that shot, Ashling giggled. "This is kind of fun~" She scurried back to the clothing room and decided to go with something a little more risque this time, a black and white halter crop top and a mini skirt. She even managed to find a few accessories lying around, and headed out to ask the kitsune, "How's this~?"

With the final shot taken by the photographer and shown to Kaila, the kitsune nodded in approval. "Perfect, now we just need one more set of pictures and I think we'll be set!" She said with a quiet chirp of joy.
When the cat girl returned to the room, Kaila looked at the girl's outfit before her grin settled back onto her lips. "Another simplistic but fashionable choice you have there. Nice." She said, crossing her arms again. "Okay... so with an outfit like that, give me a more innocent look. Like you've never done a single bad thing in your life." She said.
