“Ah er, yeh, ‘m from a different world… of Pokemon ‘n stuff,” Lucien smiled a bit before reaching back to rub the back of his nec- oh what was up with his hair now. That was a weird feeling. Ok, ok, never mind. “Mostly humans ‘n the creatures called Pokemon.” That was… still such a strange thing for him to think or say out loud. Where he was from, they were everywhere, and yet here they were not…

The mention of all the threats the forest could bring earned a small nod. Lucien had already experienced Vervitae’s mess of forest and monsters, and nothing so far in Silvaria had even come close. Still, that didn’t mean he was going to go tromping through there recklessly. The mention of the lake made Lucien fidget again. Hhhhhh.

“Yeh, I dun think she’d be in the lake probably, she’s a Grass type.” As if that meant anything to this creature. Er, yeah. “Pokemon have Types that kinda dictate what they are strong and weak against, with Water liking Water ‘n stuff like that. She’d… probably be in the grasses, hopefully…” Baring she didn’t get transformed into a wildly different creature in the process of everything. Sera had taken on features but was wholely the same, though, so he could be hopeful.

“I can use aura to look for her though…”

Some kind of weird horse magic? Hah? Is Pokemon the activation word? Hahahahah. Oh no. Lucien shook his head a couple of times trying to keep the laugh in, but really he just couldn’t. Pokemon are kinda like animals with powers… He guessed was the best way to describe that. They just have a lot of glaring strengths and weaknesses… and kinda have stuff like magic… But it wasn’t exactly magic, right? Lucien didn’t think so. Not magic like here, at least.

These thoughts trailed off, however, as Lucien began to settle once more. Drawing in his focus and his mind’s eye, he began to sense the aura’s in the area. All too quickly, the world around him turned into a sea of blues and greens. Focusing further, however, Lucien could see the variety of colors in each. There was a certain way they flowed and a pattern that they followed as well. Tree and plant aura tended to sway ever so subtly while animals that lived in them had bright busts of life as they went about their day. Focusing further, Lucien searched out the particular color pattern of Alamea, on the rocks, in the trees, even over the water.

Nothing.

Lucien took in a breath and stretched. Already, he was quickly turning to trot in another direction, somewhere deeper into the conifer. More animals were moving around now as they passed in a swirl of colors. Lucien had gotten used to it over the years… who knew how Aeron was taking all this sight, though.

A small half-laugh came and went from Lucien. “Ya know I didn’t even know normal people couldn’t see like this for a long time,” he admitted, now moving quickly through the area. The rush of color would have normally blinded a person, and yet Lucien had had it on since birth. It had been years before he could turn it off, and it was arguably more weird for the world not to be a flurry of life than it was to be.

The thought of what Alamea could be doing had Lucien’s eyebrows furrowing. He knew what she liked to do. She liked climbing trees and finding holes to nest in. She liked burrowing into Lucien’s (and other’s) belongings. She liked practicing her dance steps and showing off her moves. What could she be doing right then, though? In a foreign world with rules that didn’t make a lot of sense? Surviving… His stomach flipped over as he considered that. If she’s even here… She’d ….I’d hope she’d be waiting for me… Would she, though? Or would she have integrated so readily into this place that it didn’t even matter anymore? That he didn’t even matter anymore.

Bleh.

“Not yet…” Lucien mumbled weakly as he continued to look around. “Magic I guess…” he half laughed at the question only to pause as he remembered that magic was very much a thing in this reality. “And a lotta focus…” Speaking of focus, had his hearing heightened as well? He wasn’t sure. Hell, he’d take it in this search right then! He’d take anything!

A couple of hours passed before Lucien finally slowed. Even with Aeon’s powers heightening his powers, Lucien was still aware exhaustion was a thing. Coming to stop by a tree, he rested sideways on it and let out a deep sigh. “Damn…. Damn….. even with this I…” he muttered a couple of times under his breath, his hand gripping hard onto the tree branch, hard enough to nearly break it. “Ugh, sorry for the wild goose chase I guess….” he sighed to Aeon thereafter.

Lucien’s yellow eye flickered sideways to the tiny blob now on his shoulder. A small smile came to his features as he was assured it was fine, but a sigh escaped from him right after that. He hoped she was safe and sound somewhere else. He hoped maybe he had just been looking in the wrong flower. He wouldn’t give up. Not yet.

The question caused Lucien to blink a couple of times. “Huh?” What did he want with his body? Feel what it’s like to be a centaur… Oh, oh. Yeah. He had mentioned that. “Three hours?” he echoed. Well, that was about the time that he had used the extra power so… And do whatever I want after? Oh yeah? A small smirk curled on Lucien’s features. “Yeah? Ok… deal.” What could go wrong?

That strange giggle set of a confused alarm bell in Lucien’s head, but he wouldn’t really get a chance to back up and rethink this offer. Suddenly, he was merging with the Aigan again, and this time, he was aware of just how much force was involved. Wait- wait holy fuck? What was- what was happening? Holy fuck? He could feel himself stretch and bulk up puffing beyond his normal thin frame.

“W-woah…” As they stretched, Lucien was aware of how his muscles rolled together with Aerons. “Da-dang???” Chunky huh? Heh, he guessed he could get used to this for a while? How’s this gonna affect me later?? He had to wonder.

As they started moving, Luci couldn’t help but laugh. “I used to but ya get used to it pretty quick, just walk yeh….” It was a lot easier to move than to just stand still when like that. Even if Lucien had gotten used to that as well with some time.
