Primordials are magical elemental beings whose origin lies in the Elemental Planes. Primordials appear nine different elements: Matter, Void, Null, Fire, Earth, Water, Wind, Possitive, and Negative. The Primal elements (Fire, Water, Earth, Wind) can also mix, forming Muddled Primordials who are basically two elements combined. Primordials can look like anything, though all Primordials look related to their element in some way. Primordials aren't born, they form. A Primordial forms when a lost soul (a soul of a deceased being that doesn't go to their respective afterlife) reaches the Elemental Planes. Primordials can be extremely powerful beings, and they have been mistaken for gods by other beings in many cases. Primordials don't have bones or intestines or anything else you'd expect a being to have inside their body, they're made of magical energy. They don't really need to eat or sleep but might still like to do so. Being made of magical energy makes it easy for Primordials to store stuff inside of themselves. With the right knowledge and skill, someone from outside the Planes can summon a Primordial to their world with some weird ritual. Primordials usually don't like being summoned, as they tend to not like non-Primordials (Outsiders, as Primordials call them) and it's usually those people who summon them.
Appearance | ||
Height: 5'2" (157cm) | Build: kinda average? The first thing you'd probably notice about Torio is their hair, which isn't hair at all, it's some blood-like substance that slowly and endlessly drips down their scalp. This blood-hair occasionally drips in front of their eyes, but they don't seem to care much about that. The same blood-like substance drips down the underside of the poncho-like garment that covers their upper body. If the blood-hair isn't the first thing you notice, then it's probably all of the gold bands on their body. All of their "clothes" are actually part of their body, but Torio could probably shapeshift them into something else if they desired to do so.
Personality | ||
Torio is a quiet individual, more of a listener than a talker. When they do talk, it's often in a nervous, kind of stuttering manner. They're generally friendly, just a bit shy. They like things and places being peaceful, and if other people are breaking rules (from Torio's point of view) they'll definitely try to make sure those troublemakers will learn to not break rules again. They also don't like it when other people use cuss words, and will tell anyone who uses them to watch their language. Torio likes shiny objects, they even have a collection of many shiny things like gemstones and metal coins and jewelry, there's even a morningstar in their collection. The morningstar is also their weapon of choice in cases where violence is the only solution. They keep this morningstar in their internal storage.
History | ||
Torio is an outsider, summoned to this world by a mysterious force that turned out to be the World Tree Before becoming a Primordial, Torio was an elf-like being who traveled all around the world (mostly by foot) to see the different cultures and traditions that exist. Their death was caused by a falling boulder during one of their travels through mountain terrain. As a formling (recently formed Primordial) they were confused yet fascinated by this new world called the Elemental Planes. As time passed and Torio learned to understand their world, they found this place was not as bad as it could've been, even with some of the instable elements. They eventually became part of the Royal Guard of the Elemental Lord of Matter. At one point during a simple daily patrol, they were summoned by someone or something. Fading out of the Planes and into this weird treetop world, Torio panicked at first because now Matter Lord Madda-Rakt was missing a Royal Guard member, but once they found out getting back to the Planes was gonna get pretty difficult they decided to stay here (for now). |
